• TTPNuk Education Sector Forum - June 2008 -  Theme  - “Improving the effectiveness to leverage the experience of Trinidad and Tobago nationals and descendants in the UK Education sector with particular emphasis on teaching, teachers, curriculum, innovation and the use of ICT “.

  This event was conceived as a result of lengthy discussions which we have had about the issue of closer cooperation and partnership of educationalist in Trinidad and Tobago with foreign based nationals.  Our aim is also to support the OECD Directorate for Education to “assist members and partners to achieve high quality lifelong learning for all that contributes to personal development, sustainable economic growth and social cohesion”.  

   

• 1st Official Gala  Dinner -27 September 2008

 As noted this event will be the 1st official Gala Dinner held jointly between  TTPNuk & The Republic of Trinidad and Tobago High Commission, London. 

 

The theme of the Gala Dinner is  to celebrate the reconnection between the Caribbean and African Diaspora and award distinguished nationals and descendants of Trinidad and Tobago for their service in the UK. The venue commands a dress code of black tie or cocktail dresses for ladies bringing glamour and prestige to the event. Guests will be invited to arrive at 7pm for a pre dinner drinks reception and tour of exhibits. This will provide a unique opportunity for guests to network with those who are involved in the international Caribbean and African Diasporas alongside the Dinner's prestigious  sponsors.  A 3-Course Meal, prepared and served by a team of renowned and highly skilled caterers will follow at 8pm.
